Using Google, Python and the Django framework, building web applications has gotten a lot easier, allowing you to do more faster than ever before. I've always been somewhat weary of languages like Perl and PHP, because they weren't built like traditional Object Oriented languages, always playing catch up. Python was built for traditional programmers using OO heavily.
